Joy is finding a way to be happy, even when things don't go your way. God is the Creator of joy and all things joyful. Because He is joyful, He wants us to be joyful too! God gave us His Son, Jesus, to save us, which is the ultimate reason to have joy. We can be joyful-even in midst of difficult circumstances-when we choose to remember the words and life of Christ!

Throughout 2008, we will continue to make it our goal to raise $50 a month to sponsor our Swazi orphan, Linda!

This month, in particular, is a great reminder to continue to spread joy to those less fortunate. We will also be partnering with the Healing Clinic in Kozzaka, Egypt to spread a little joy to children there who my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting last year! More details coming soon!

Parents, your April virtue pack is now available for only $7 at the Park Store. Each virtue pack includes a drive time CD, meal time notes for family discussions, booklets for exciting bedtime stories, and morning time cards for you to slip into their backpack to encourage your child! :)

Children's Camp registration is now open! If your child has finished 2nd grade - 5th grade, they won't want to miss out on one of the most exciting summer experiences ever! This year, we'll be learning how to take in the words of Christ and live them out daily! ? Camp dates are June 16th - 20th and costs $180 per camper (includes 3 meals a day, transportation and a full week of FUN!)
